This section contains three core classes recommended for all staff clinicians:
These classes are based on the Hazelden Co-occurring Disorders Program, focusing on integrated treatment by offering both mental health and substance use services at the same time and in the same setting. It is recommended that the Core Classes be “In Person” trainings; however, portions of this training could be done virtually (details below). Also, this day of training can be provided as often as is deemed necessary. Audience Target: LCPC, LCSW, LAC, LMFT, psychologists, nurses, health providers, service providers, emergency responders, and peer support specialists.
*Because of the activities, these classes are intended for in-person attendance and are best not to exceed 30 attendees per session.
